Moral within the Team was given a boost today following the visit to Vanuatu U-17 camp by VFF President Lambert Maltok.
“Normally I am supposed to come at the semi-finals stage, but I have decided to come early because I want to be here with my team from their last group match on”, Maltok said.
Mr. Maltok congratulated the team on their remarkable performance in their first group match against Tahiti.
He says he believes the team have what it requires to reach the final.
Team Manager Stephane Bong welcomed and thanked Mr. Maltok for honouring the youth team with his presence.
Coach Emerson also thanked Mr. Maltok and assured him that the team do have the potential to deliver.
Mr. Maltok who is also President of Oceania Football Confederation will be at the HFC Bank Stadium this evening to cheer the teams and especially the Vanuatu team.
The Vanuatu playing Cook Islands match will be live on Capitol FM 107, thanks to the support from MP for Epi and Speaker of Parliament, Seule Simeon, Minister of Health Marco Mahe and the Department of Industries.
