ABM Galaxy Tops Group A, Waterfall FC Ahead in Group B of VFF Champions League 2025

Port Vila | Sunday 15 June 2025

Two rounds into the 2025 VFF Champions League, ABM Galaxy FC and M3 United FC have taken control of Group A, each securing six points from two convincing wins at VFF Freshwater Stadium in Port Vila.

The annual competition, organized by the Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF), kicked off midweek and has already delivered standout performances, lopsided scorelines, and early title favorites.

Dominant Galaxy Sets the Pace

ABM Galaxy FC has made a powerful start to their campaign:

  • 6–0 win over Eastern Sun FC (12 June)

  • 8–0 win over Spirit FC (14 June)

With 14 goals scored and none conceded, Galaxy leads the group on goal difference and looks like a strong contender to reach the knockout stages.

M3 United Matching Step for Step

M3 United FC has also claimed two wins:

  • 5–1 victory over Spirit FC

  • 4–1 win against Eastern Sun FC

With nine goals scored and only two conceded, they remain level on points with ABM Galaxy but will need a big result in their upcoming head-to-head clash to claim top spot.

Group A Decider Coming Up

All eyes now turn to Tuesday 17 June at 4:00 PM, when ABM Galaxy FC faces off with M3 United FC in what could be the defining match of the group stage.

Earlier that day at 1:00 PM, Eastern Sun FC will meet Spirit FC as both sides seek to end their campaigns on a positive note.

Group B Still Wide Open

In Group B, results have been tighter. Police FC opened their tournament with a 3–1 win over Malampa Revivors, but fell 2–1 to Waterfall FC in the second round.

The final group match between Waterfall FC and Malampa Revivors FC will be played Monday 16 June at 3:00 PM, determining who advances.
