Thailand participated in this competition last three years and this is the first time they beat Australia and crown ABSC Champions.
Thailand lost to Tiny Vanuatu on Saturday 3-2 but managed to upset the host in front of a huge crowd at North Beach, Wollongong, Australia.
Australia came second and Vanuatu third on the ladder, received bronze medal.
