The win puts Solomon Islands in a good spot to qualify to play in the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia.
Vanuatu have one more match to play against Tahiti tomorrow and a win or draw will see the local boys in third place for the first time again in a OFC Futsal Competition.
Vanuatu now fourth on the ladder.
