ARU’S STUNNING FREE KICK GOALS HELP VANUATU SECURE VICTORY OVER FIJI

Claude Aru celebrates with Spockey Jonathan Jack, his second free kick goal.

He had scored a free kick earlier, but the referee had cancelled it.

As if he was waiting for another free kick, Aru had gone and shook hands with Spockey (who was brought down by the Fiji defenders just outside the box) before delivering another superb free that caused a good round of applause from the spectators.

It was Vanuatu’s second goal after Spockey had opened the score, and Fiji had scored an equalizer from the penalty spot.

In the end Vanuatu won the game 2-1.
