Brazilian Diego Maximo Benedito is the new Galaxy FC head coach.
This is part of Galaxy FC restructure for the new season as the club aims to make soccer a holistic approach in the community.
The club also wants to build a healthy relationship with families, fans and supporters to own their team rather then just officials and teams.
Building the motive for everyone to enjoy the game.
For the restructures the club has made four appointments and one of these is the appointment of new head coach which is Mr Benedito.
Benedito says; “I feel very happy with this new appointment, I want to thank the executives for trusting me.
“For the O’league next year we will prepare well,” Benedito said.
Nelson Sale is the new assistant coach for the club. The Solomon Islander comes in with a wealth of experience. Played with Auckland City and also part of Solomon Islands team.
Former head coach Mois Poida who led Galaxy FC to victory in the 2020 VFF National Super League is the new technical director.
New Media Manager
For the first time Galaxy FC is making the sport inclusive to all and have appointed the new women new media manager.
Chief of Staff of Utilities Regulatory Authority Lizzie Taura-Govan is the new media manager.
This is the first time for Ms Govan to be associated with sports but is not new to the job description.
“I have worked in a team before and will take it as a challenge,” she said.
Club CEO Milroy Cainton wishes the new executives the very best for the season.
