Renowned FIFA football icons, including Tim Cahill, Roque Junior, Christian Karembeu, Maia Jackman, Juan Pablo Sorin, and Carmelina Moscato, will take to the field to display their football brilliance. This exciting clash between international legends and local heroes is expected to captivate the audience and elevate the sport’s spirit in the Pacific nation.
Vanuatu’s football legends, comprising a lineup of prominent players who have made significant contributions to the country’s football history, will be ready to participate in this match. With players like Jean Jacque Galinie, Peter Takaro, Kaison Maki, Noel Vari, Moise Poida and many more, the Vanuatu team is all set to compete against the FIFA legends, creating an electrifying atmosphere at VFF Freshwater Stadium.
The Vanuatu football legends are representatives from the Melanesia Cup Team of 1990 in New Caledonia, the First-ever OFC Champions League Competition Team that competed in Australia and also finishing 2nd place in the Melanesian Cup Team in Santo in 1998, and the Nations Cup Team that defeated New Zealand 4-1 in Australia in 2002.
