Former All Whites Keeper conducts Goal Keeping Course in Port Vila

Former New Zealand All Whites Keeper James Bannatyne is in Port Vila this week to run a 3 days MA certificate Goal Keeping Coaching Course at Teouma.

In the Academy conference room this morning, the Oceania Football Confederation goalkeeper Instructor introduced himself as a former New Zealand association football goalkeeper and last played for All Whites in 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

He also played for Team Wellington in the New Zealand Football Championship and is currently into coaching and is the assistant coach for Western Springs in Auckland.

James Bannatyne is now an Goalkeeper Instructor at Oceania Football Confederation and is not new in Vanuatu.

The participants from Tafea Football Association, Sanma FA, Luganville FA and Port Vila League based clubs are attending the course at Teouma Academy.

The aim of the course is to improve goalkeepers in the Member Associations of VFF around Vanuatu.
