A group of twenty dedicated local futsal coaches are set to enhance their skills and knowledge through the OFC Senior Futsal C License Coaching Course, taking place in Port Vila next week.
Led by National Futsal Coach Ben Hungai and VFF Futsal Instructor Ben Hungai, this comprehensive course aims to empower coaches by honing their experience and equipping them to overcome new challenges in the dynamic world of futsal.
Participants will delve into various aspects of coaching, including planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation of effective coaching sessions. By grasping the fundamental principles of the game, coaches will gain valuable insights into adapting their strategies to different scenarios.
The majority of course attendees hail from the Shefa and Port Vila Futsal Leagues, reflecting the local talent and enthusiasm for futsal development in the region. Many of these coaches have already obtained their MA Senior Futsal Certificate, making this course an opportune platform for advancing their expertise.
Scheduled to be held at the Wan Smolbag futsal court from 24th to 28th April, the course will be conducted by renowned OFC Futsal Instructor Julianno Schmeiling from Brazil. Assisting him will be VFF Futsal Instructor Ben Hungai, ensuring a valuable and enriching learning experience for all participants.
This coaching course not only reflects the commitment of local coaches to elevate their coaching abilities but also highlights the ongoing efforts of the Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF) to foster the growth and development of futsal in the country.
