The stage is now set for the grand finale of the VFF Champions League 2024/25, after M3 United FC and ABM Galaxy FC emerged victorious in their respective semifinal clashes at Freshwater Stadium.
In the second semifinal match of the day, M3 United FC defeated Waterfall FC (Snr Male) 3–1 in front of a crowd of 1,300 spectators. Despite an early goal from Waterfall’s John Welwel in the 24th minute, M3 United quickly equalized through Lenny Kaitu just before halftime. The second half saw M3 take control, with Kerry Iawak scoring in the 55th minute and Joe Nasgeni sealing the win in the 74th.
Earlier in the day, ABM Galaxy FC overcame Police FC 4–1 to secure their place in the final. The two teams now advance not only to compete for the VFF Champions League title but also to represent Vanuatu at the OFC Champions League 2025.
Finalists and OFC Qualification
With their semifinal victories, M3 United FC and ABM Galaxy FC have emerged as the top two clubs in Vanuatu this season. However, only one of them will qualify for the OFC Champions League. The upcoming final match will decide which team will represent Vanuatu as Team Vanuatu in the OFC Champions League 2025.
The final promises an exciting showdown between two of the country’s strongest squads, both packed with local talent and coming off confident semifinal performances.
