The national Under 16 team is preparing for the OFC tournament to be played in Fiji in
January 2023.
Training under the newly imported Brazillian Coach Emerson, it will be the first time that the Vanuatu youth team will be trialing out their game plan and preparations to play as a team against other youth teams within Oceania.
Since his arrival in the country on October 31, Coach Emerson has been assigned to take responsibility for the national Under 16 team.
Assistant U16 Coach Kaison Maki is encouraging parents and local football fans to go and see the team and also give moral support.
