greeting before lecture
The MA Senior Certificate coaching course began on October 18th at the Port Vila Municipal Stadium. It aims to elevate the skills and knowledge of Port Vila League coaches in senior football. The course spans three sessions from 9:00 to 15:00, with the final scheduled for November 8th. Coaches who complete the program will earn the prestigious Senior Football Coaching Certificate. All assessments are conducted according to the guidelines outlined in the OFC Convention Guidelines.

Peter Takaro, the VFF Technical Director, emphasized the course’s goal: “We want to build the competence of coaches to deliver high-quality training to PVFA Senior Football Ligue 1 and 2.” He added, “I want the coaches to improve their skills.”

A lecture is about more than just listening. During these sessions, coaches share valuable experiences, creating opportunities for deeper understanding and growth. This knowledge exchange is essential for football’s future improvement. Additionally, the course includes group sessions, fostering collaboration and mutual learning among participants.

With the MA Senior Certificate course, Port Vila coaches are gaining knowledge and shaping the future of football in the region, creating a stronger and more competitive foundation for the sport.
