Port Vila Football Association (PVFA) reminded all four clubs who are now taking part in the Top Four Super League to read the regulation of the Top Four Competition.
Florian Sam, PVFA competition manager said it is very important for the club administration and managers to know that regulation given to them before the competition kicks off few weeks ago.
During a special meeting today Wednesday 14 December 2016 at PVFA meeting room, Florian Sam reminded the clubs to read the regulation.
Section 23 on the regulation is Determination of the final rankings.
In the league system the ranking in each group is determined as follows:
a) Greater number of points obtained in all;
(b) If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above criteria, their place shall be determined.
(c) Greater number of points obtained in the matches between the teams concerned.
(d) Goal difference resulting from the matches between the teams concerned.
(e) Goal difference in all the group matches.
(f) Greater number of goals scored in all the group matches.
(g) In the event that two teams are still equal after the above criteria a final game may be organised to determine the winner; if the agglomerate score results to a draw, overtime or extra time and penalty kicks ( if necessary) will be played to determine the winner).
The winning team this Saturday will represent Port Vila and Vanuatu Football Federation in he OFC Champions League 2017.
