FAQs

When does the audit report come out?

The release of the audit report comes at the end of the year when VFF congress sits and approves it then public can scrutinize it. If the agenda is delayed then an extra ordinary congress will called to see the audit report and approve it for public scrutiny. VFF Statute Article 22.

What are the members’ rights?

Members have the following rights:

(a) to take part in the Congress;
(b) to draw up proposals for inclusion in the agenda of the Congress;
(c) to nominate candidates for the VFF presidency;
(d) to take part in competitions organized by VFF;
(e) to take part in VFF’s assistance and development programmes;
(f) to exercise all other rights arising from these Statutes and other regulations.

The exercise of these rights is subject to other provisions in these Statutes and the applicable regulations.

Is the position of VFF President open for anyone to apply?

The president of VFF is elected by Member Association vote. There are 8 MAs in Vanuatu that goes to poll every 4 years.
