SHEFA Football Association’s Annual General Meeting convened this week in Morua village on Tongoa in the Shepherd Group of Islands.
All eight (8) SHEFA Province Area Leagues are attending the meeting on Tongoa Island, bringing football back to the village and people, with a Referee Training Course conducted in Lumbukuti village.
Shepherd Islands and SHEFA FA has produced referees in the Port Vila League like Charity Joshua and Peter Manuriki from Emae Island.
Popular National Super League club contender Malnaruru FC hails from Tongoa Island and players like Alick Worworbu started his football career on this Island with Malnaruru.
The 8 Active Leagues are North Efate League and South Efate League on Efate Island, Yarsu League, Vermaol Leagu, Vermali League, Varsu League on Epi Epi Island, Tokovate League on Tongoa Island and Emae League on Emae Island.
