Splash donates vt 2.2 million ahead of the session

Port Vila league has announced this week that Vanuatu Beverage Splash has donated the league with an amount of 2.2 million vatu ahead of the session.

The check was received by the newly elected Port Vila Football Association president Andrew Leong.

Splash Managing Director Manu Tea was quoted by Daily Post as an exciting new partnership.

“We are glad to sponsor one big football association like PVFA and also we glad to support football in Port Vila.”

“Port Vila have a lot of teams and players we wish all teams good luck for the next season,” Tea said.

The post reported Mr. Leong acknowledged Mr Tea and he said the funds will help his staff who have been working unpaid for the past seasons, to assist in their allowances.

“Also this will be used in cash prizes in the upcoming Splash sponsored Premier League and we encourage private sector to come and support grass root football, development which is Vanuatu’s future”, he said.
