As the first professional league of its kind in Oceania, it represents a significant step forward in fostering a competitive and aspirational environment for clubs and players. This initiative aims to inspire young talent, create professional pathways, and enhance football development across the region.
The Vanuatu Football Federation is committed to this ambitious project, ensuring that the initial stage of the VFF Professional Club will be established through the VFF, thereby laying a solid foundation for the future of professional football in Vanuatu.
The OFC Professional League is scheduled to commence in 2026, featuring eight teams from across Oceania, including Australia and Hawaii.
