Following their successful finish in the VFF National Championships, Tafea men’s and women’s teams were welcomed home by Chairman of the Nikoleten Council of Chiefs, Chief Willie Lop.He was accompanied by all other authorities in Tanna to welcome home their home team Tafea men’s and women’s team.
The Tafea men’s team showed instrumental achievement in their performance during the championship finishing as runners up losing to Luganville 1-0.
Tafea men’s team survived the semi final, beating PENAMA 2-1 to book their spot in the final.
Meanwhile, the Tafea women’s side also finished in second place in the women’s division behind Port Vila women who won the women’s division.
Chief Lop acknowledges the team for their effort and participation.
