On February 27, the West Tanna Football League, organized by the Tafea Football Association (TFA), held its Week 9 matches at Lamenu Stadium in Tanna.

The Tafea Football Association (TFA) oversees football activities in Tafea Province, Vanuatu. It plays a crucial role in developing and promoting the sport in the region by organizing leagues, nurturing young talent, and strengthening football within local communities.

One of the highlight matchups of the day was between LILI FC and Nakusi FC. Both teams fiercely competed for a spot in the Championship League. The match captivated local fans, showcasing the league’s competitive spirit and high level of football.

During the event, we interviewed Anthony Kalia, the administrator of the Tafea Football Association, who shared valuable insights into the league’s progress and future prospects.

Another exciting fixture featured Classic Kapalpal FC, a strong team participating in the VFF Championship League in Vanuatu, competing against Jungle Spider FC. This added to the thrilling atmosphere of the day’s matches.
