The Vanuatu Gideons Futsal Team has been presented with a valuable opportunity to undergo training led by Juliano Schmeling, the OFC Futsal Instructor, as part of the ongoing practical segment of the futsal coaching course held at the Wan Smolbag Center in Port Vila.
Ben Hungai, the VFF Futsal Development Officer and Instructor, who is assisting Instructor Schmeling during the week-long course, expressed satisfaction with the training activities.
“The course participants are delighted with the program, particularly when they have the chance to work with members of our national futsal team in the practical section of the course,” said Hungai.
He further added, “Even the Gideons team players are thrilled to be part of this program as they have the opportunity to learn from a seasoned Futsal Instructor like Juliano.”
The OFC Senior Futsal C License Course has attracted around twenty participants and commenced on Monday, April 24. It is scheduled to conclude on Friday, April 28, 2023.
