VANUATU U-16 GIRLS’ SOCCER TEAM GEARS UP FOR OFC U-16 WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

The Vanuatu U-16 girls’ soccer team is gearing up for the upcoming 2023 OFC U-16 Women’s Championship. The team has been working tirelessly for weeks, putting in countless hours of training, drills, and preparation to ensure they are in top form for the championship.

Their head coach, Nesta Kate Moli, has been organizing friendly tournaments with local schools such as Erakor School, Anamburu School, Vila North School, and Suango School in Mele, to give the girls plenty of match practice and experience ahead of the championship.

Yesterday, the team played their first friendly match against one of these school selection teams, and they have another four matches to go before the tournament. Fans and supporters of women’s soccer in Vanuatu are eagerly following the team’s progress and are excited to see how they will fare in the championship.
