The Vanuatu Under 15s team will finally embark on their journey to Auckland on Thursday, 13 April. They will be participating in the OFC Youth U15 program, which has already begun in Auckland. There are potential matches lined up against Fiji and Tahiti.
VFF Technical Director Peter Takaro expressed his hopes of securing a match against the youth team from Liechtenstein during their time in Auckland. The team is scheduled to check in at Bauerfield Airport at 12 pm.
The Port Vila – Auckland flight will be operated by Solomon Airlines, ensuring that the team travels together without any division. Coach Emerson Alcantara is pleased with this arrangement, emphasizing its importance for the team’s unity.
