VFF PRESIDENT MALTOCK AND IFIRA BB PRESIDENT LABAN WELCOME BACK VANUATU CHAMPIONS CLUB

The Vanuatu Champions club, Ifira Black Birds, has returned to Port Vila after a successful preparations camp in the Gold Coast, Australia.

Coach Robert Yalou and PVFA President Harry Atisson expressed their satisfaction with the overseas camp and stated that the team is fully prepared for the upcoming matches.

Relatives, family members, and enthusiastic football fans gathered at Bauerfield Airport on Tuesday afternoon to warmly welcome and congratulate the team on their preparations.

During their camp, the team played three matches, securing two victories and suffering one defeat.

Ifira Black Birds are placed in Group B, alongside Hekari Utd from PNG, AS Pirae from Tahiti, and Tiga Sports from New Caledonia.

Their first match will be against Hekari Utd on Monday, 15 May, at the Fresh Water VFF Stadium in Port Vila.

Group A matches will commence their competitions on Sunday, 14 May, featuring Auckland City, Solomon Warriors, Suva FC, and Lupe FC.
