The Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF) has confirmed a total of 34 transfer applications were received during the FIFA transfer window period.
The National League indeed has produced a lot of positive impacts in this year’s competition.
VFF NL Competition Manager, Bong Shem confirmed that one feedback from the NL competitions is the increase of Member Association’s window transfer gaining high momentum during the approved FIFA window transfer program commencing from January 25 -12 February 2021.
Mr Bong confirmed that one major impact is the increase of MA players transferring into the Port Vila Football Association (PVFA).
VFF confirmed that a total of 34 players participated in the VFF window transfer program. It saw an increase in Lugainville Football Association players transferring into PVFA as well.
The Competition manager stated that hopefully more players will participate in the VFF transfer window program as well in the next VFF NL edition as it is a pathway for VFF Coaches and club coaches to scout players as well.
Mr Bong is appealing to all players not included in the recent VFF National selection that there is still a lot of chance for players to prove their worth on field in the next VFF NL competition.
“Next years NL Edition schedule date is still in discussion with the FIFA executive to later confirm an approved date,” said Mr Bong.
VFF confirmed that all applications received by 12 midnight on the 12th of February were approved by VFF and applications later than the date were nullified.
VFF imposed a window transfer fee of VT110,000, with VT10,000 to deal with administrative works including application program and VT100,000 to as compensation fee back to the respective MA and also to the club concern.
