Waterfall FC (Snr Male) claimed third place in the 2025 VFF Champions League with a dominant 3–0 victory over Police FC at the VFF Freshwater Stadium. In front of a crowd of 700 spectators, the team showed clinical finishing and disciplined defending to round off their tournament campaign on a high note.

The scoring opened in the first half with a well-placed goal by Tonly Kalotang in the 10th minute. Waterfall maintained momentum into the second half, with Niel Thomas doubling the lead in the 73rd minute before John Welwel sealed the result with a third in the 90+6th minute.

Police FC struggled to break through Waterfall’s defense and registered few threats in front of goal. The match was also marked by one caution—Chris Bongneim of Police FC received a yellow card for unsporting behaviour in the 84th minute.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Albert Manaroto, Waterfall FC displayed strong team chemistry and resilience, rebounding from their semifinal exit to take the bronze medal position. Meanwhile, Police FC will look to build on this experience as they prepare for upcoming domestic competitions.
